LOW SELF-ESTEEM, TRAUMA FROM THE AFTERMATH OF A FIBROID SURGERY & CHANNELLING FEARLESS FOR EXCELLENCE AND HEALING

Being fearless means living life freely with no  chains, no pressures, or outside forces to prevent you from your pursuit of happiness.

To be fearless doesn’t mean you don’t have fears. It means leaning into your fears so that you can overcome them. Everything you want is on the other side of fear.

RISING ABOVE HURDLES AND CHANNELLING FEARLESS INTO EXCELLENCE, HEALING AND GROWTH

God, Self-Discovery and Positivity.

Everyday, I practice building a closer relationship with God. Whether that be daily devotionals, personal affirmations, or watching sermons by Michael Todd from Transformation Church, there is power in spiritual connectedness with “The One” that you serve. I’ve been through low self-esteem, unhealthy relationships with men, two near fatal car accidents, surgery for uterine fibroids which may have affected my ability to bear children, being devalued in the workplace, and losing myself through the midst of it all. But God though. He kept me here. He brought me through each incident in my life. He positioned certain people in my life to never let me spiral too far down the wrong path. I am super grateful for each for my friends and family who have supported through the good, the bad and the ugly.

I also understand that some journeys are often travelled alone. Sometimes, I felt I leaned too heavily on #mytribe, to a point where I didn’t know who I was or what I wanted anymore. A good girlfriend of mine told me, “It’s ok to be silent and still.” During my quiet time, I discovered so much about myself, areas that I needed to heal in and areas that I needed to grow in. By taking time to rediscover myself, I was able to overcome adversity and step into my own fearlessness.

Lastly, my dad always told me, “surround yourself with positive people and positive outcomes will happen.” I believe in that statement wholeheartedly and I believe in speaking positive things into existence. When you speak, breathe and believe positivity, you are manifesting your own positive outcomes. I make sure that I monitor my peace and protect it at all cost by speaking and surrounding myself with positivity.

I believe these three factors have allowed me to see through any storm that has come my way. Trust me, when I say this, being fearless is not an easy journey, but it starts with this question, “How do you want to live the rest of your life – Bound or Living Freely?”

Be Bold. Be Fearless. Be You.
